What Should I Expect If I Visit?
Join us!
- We meet at 10:00 Sunday morning for Bible Classes for all ages.
- At 11:00 Sunday morning we meet to worship in celebration of Jesus' getting up on a Sunday morning and walking out of his grave, proving once and for all that we have nothing in this world to fear.
- And we meet again at 7:00 Wednesday evening for another Bible class.
Our Worship
- First, expect a smile and a warm greeting. we are glad to have you visit with us.
- Our song Leader, David, will lead us as we ALL sing songs of praise and worship, many of them about our eternal reward (Ephesians 5:19; Collossians 3:16). Our singing is "a Capella," meaning we use only our voices. "A Capella" is a Latin term meaning "in the way of the church.'
- There will be prayers, including one in which you will have opportunity to say what you would like to have us pray for (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
- We will pass around a small amount of bread and grape juice to be taken as the Communion or Lord's Supper so that we can remember Jesus as He requested we do (Luke 22:19; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians11:23-25; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
- We will pass a basket to take a collection as the early Christians did (1 Corinthians 16:2).
- Our preacher, Richard, will teach us a Bible lesson (Romans 10:13-14). Richard is a trained teacher and is an excellent preacher.
