Why Do You Not Use Musical Instruments In Your worship?
We pattern our worship after the very earliest Christians because they had the benefit of hearing Jesus and the apostles tell them how to worship God. Instrumental music was not introduced into the worship of Jesus until over 600 years later. And we love our music! Being a part of a congregation of people who are using only their voices to praise God is heartwarming. See Hebrews 13:15.
Why Do You Baptize New Believers?
Every example in the New Testament of someone becoming a Christian includes the story of their baptism. That includes the original 3000 people (Acts 2:38-41), the Apostle Paul (Acts 9:17-18), the Ethiopian official on his way home from Jerusalem (Acts 11:26-38), the Philippian jailer and his family (Acts16:30-34) and all the others. The Greek word translated "baptism" in our English Bibles is "baptizo." It means immerse in water.
